The Streaming Giant Casts Perfect Actor for Bon Clay in the Hit Series Season 3
The Secret Organization is geared up to exert significant influence in Netflix’s upcoming season of One Piece, even if the true confrontation won’t unfold until the next season, and a beloved, audience-beloved member has recently been selected.
The streaming service revealed Tuesday that Cole Escola is now part of the One Piece cast for the third season and will play Bentham. Bon Clay can use their power to morph into an exact copy of any person they’ve touched with their main hand. The actor, who is identifies as non-binary and uses they/them pronouns, will portray a rendition of that role reimagined as gender non-binary, instead of as a drag artist, in the live-action show, differing from the original manga and anime.
This performer will work alongside a number of new cast members who will portray the organization to reality, featuring head Sir Crocodile, brought to life by the well-known actor, Sophia Anne Caruso as Miss Goldenweek, and Sendhil Ramamurthy, who also joins the cast as the monarch of the fictional land.
Though Bon Clay is a major member of Baroque Works, the individual will be introduced in One Piece the upcoming installment. With the next season set to cover the Little Garden storyline, this signals a major departure in the timing of the character’s debut, one that could suggest additional alterations to the story’s structure.
Their mix of excellent comedic sense and profound feeling makes them a perfect fit for the part. Besides their recent voice performance in the youth-focused cartoon movie Boys Go to Jupiter, they garnered significant recognition and several accolades for creating and performing in the popular theatrical show Oh Mary!, emphasizing the adaptability they’ll bring to one of One Piece’s widely praised roles.
The platform’s adapted One Piece series is set to return for its next installment on the tenth of March, 2026.
