The Gory Animated Film Conclusion That Haunts Audiences

Out of all the adult-oriented cartoon movies I have personally viewed, nothing has stuck with me as much as the terror-laced ending of a graphically gory as well as highly provocative film from 2022 The Unicorn Wars.

Back in the year 2015, this Spain-based writer-director developed a grim, bleak , frequently brutal universe that included some tiny , desolate glimmers of hope.

While The Unicorn Wars appears as it stemmed from a drive to advance the medium even more, the director clarified that it was more an attempt to express a widespread, cross-cultural theme regarding “the mutual source of every conflict.”

This theme is communicated through a band of colorful pastel bears , openly inspired by a well-known line of cuddly characters.

Being raised in a society built around warmongering and the defense industry, numerous the bears are obsessed with killing unicorns, because of a holy book that claims them they used to be kings of the woodland, before the horned beings drove them out.

Some haven’t fully accepted the brainwashing, and choose to sample narcotics and mate in the forest.

Unlike their gentle counterparts, these colorful critters display genitals and obvious urges.

For one especially vicious, skeptical animal, the character Bluey, the battle with unicorns becomes a route to power — and particularly to dominance over his softer, nicer brother Tubby.

The character is a bully and a seeming antisocial figure , and when terror overcomes his group and kills his comrades sequentially, he takes progressively control on his own behalf, via progressively violent, destructive ways.

Meanwhile, the unicorns are suffering their own horror, through a spreading, destructive monster in their habitat.

“At the beginning, it appears as a lighthearted film,” the filmmaker commented. “Yet it turns into a more serious and sad film. And by the end, it becomes a scary feature.”

Unicorn Wars starts out resembling among the playful films by a legendary filmmaker, that uncover a mischievous joy in permitting drawn beings swear, fire weapons, or engage sexually.

Subsequently it evolves into closer to a bleaker film by that same artist, including ever more visual gore and a palpable connection to the actual tragedy of battle.

By the end, it is a full-on extreme drama massacre.

The fear that turns the film an ideal spooky-season viewing kicks in much sooner than indicated.

The Unicorn Wars is suited for the hardcore fans of gore, for enthusiasts of extreme cinema who wish to see a movie they haven’t ever viewed until now, and can endure a plot which delivers no restraint.

View it in a dimly lit space without any distractions, and the finale will burrow deep within you and stay with you.
